- SkyRC optical tachometer is a must-have measuring device in the arsenal of a radio-controlled aircraft model pilot. Measures the rotor rotation speed with an accuracy of 1 rpm in the range of 700 - 4500 rpm.
- The principle of operation of the SkyRC tachometer is based on the stroboscopic effect: an object appears stationary in the eyes of the observer when the flickering frequency of the viewing glass in the tachometer coincides with the rotation frequency of the object. Thus, by smoothly adjusting the flickering frequency of the glass, it is possible to determine the rotation frequency of the object (rotor of an airplane, helicopter) at the moment of the stroboscopic effect, when the rotating object appears static when viewed through the flickering glass.
- SkyRC optical tachometer is a highly accurate, ergonomic, easy-to-use and functional tool for determining the rotation speed of objects. For the convenience of measurements, the tachometer is equipped with such functions as LED backlight, frequency presets to speed up measurements and aperture level for measuring objects of different brightness.
