Needle Valve: With engine running, close needle valve as RPM increases, close further 60-90° from point where RPM starts to decrease, open slowly as RPM increases, then open 90° further from maximum RPM point Mixture Control Valve; Open one turn, open and close throttle a few time to make sure there is no resistance, close mixture control valve 30°, repeat open and closing of throttle then open mixture control valve approximately 90°
