Overview

Production of the revolutionary PA-28 began in the early 1960's in the new Piper production halls in Vero Beach, Florida. The rugged design and excellent handling ensured that the machine became popular with private pilots and flight schools in no time at all. Thus, since the start of production, over 32,000 Cherokees have been built in all variants. In the ranking of the most popular civil aircraft, the Cherokee takes fourth place. The E-flite Cherokee 1.3m is our detailed implementation of this classic. Equipped with realistic scale details, position lights and flaps, as well as the original pendulum saddle, it is the dream of every pilot of a Cherokee want to call his own. 

The E-flite Cherokee is a detailed model replica of the original. The precisely implemented lines and the many scale details result in a combination of perfect handling and good performance.
The panel lines, rivets and bumpers and a pilot figure are just a few highlights of the scale equipment. Functional features, such as the factory-installed position lights, the sprung nose landing gear with the large wheels support the good handling. The two-piece wing is equipped with the comfortable servo plug system. The built-in split flaps effectively shorten the take-off and landing distance and also improve the slow-flying characteristics.

The assembly only takes about the time in which the battery charges and takes place without adhesive. The hull and the wing are made of lightweight carbon reinforced EPO foam. The 3 - 4 S 2200 to 3200 mAh LiPo battery fits easily over the large access panel in the fuselage. The 50A regulator and high power brushless motor offers much more than the required scale performance and also allows aerobatics and high speed cruising. In short, a model that flies as well as it looks!  

Scale details

The model of the Cherokee 1.3 was designed as a faithful replica with an extensive scale equipment. These include molded Panellines, rivets and the riffled rudder surfaces. The airframe is equipped with transparent glazing, seat backs, a pilot figure and instrument panels. The paint corresponds to the original PA-28 (M3713K) by John Bradley, who used this model as a model.

Functional authenticity

The precise lines of the model perfectly capture the shape of the original. The distinctive wing with the split flaps enables shorter takeoff and landing distances and improves low-speed flight characteristics. The elevator is designed as pendelleitwerk as in the original. The sprung nose wheel and the large wheels allow the use of uneven slopes.  
The factory installed LED lighting, including the position flashers on the wings and rudder increases with the landing gear the scale impression.

3S and 4S compatible

The built-in high power brushless outrunner with 50A regulator offers more than the required scale performance with a 3S 2200-3200mAh LiPo battery. For even more power, a 4S battery can be used without changing the propeller.

Stable construction 

The carbon-reinforced EPO construction makes it possible to display detailed surfaces. The result is a maintenance-friendly scale model that flies excellently.

Easy installation

No glue is required to mount the Cherokee 1.3, so installation is done in less time than the battery needs to charge. The pluggable wing is equipped with automatic servo and lighting connectors.
